Service Agreement Part 3 : System Check

by Carrie Privette, Friday, June 2, 2017 2:23 PM

During the final stage of our service agreement routine, we check to ensure that the system works well overall.

This process includes checking the function of the thermostat and evaluating voltage and amperage to the motors. We inspect the outdoor coil for damage, and measure the voltage drop across the contactor. We measure high and low side pressure as well as super heat or sub cool. Next, we inspect for refrigerant leaks. Finally, we inspect the blower capacitor value.

This concludes the final portion of our service agreement tasks. Having a professional clean your unit, inspect the parts of your system, and check proper operation each spring can save energy costs, help avoid emergency ac repairs, and keep your home cool all summer. Once again, many of our customers benefit from these regular tune ups. Consider whether signing our service agreement contract could be right for you today!
